Houston Children's Charity is a 501(C)(3) non-profit
organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for
Greater Houston's underprivileged, abused and disabled
children who have been otherwise left behind.  The Gulf Coast
Football Association is proud to be a part of this program.  With
the help of players and coaches in the GCFA we hope to
provide any needed assistance to HCC that is asked of us.  We
look forward in helping all that we can.

Year after year everybody has their opinion about a certain call or
decision that was made by the league. There have been a lot of
heated battles back and forth about almost everything.  Now the
question should be what is the rule? So the association is excited
about the new By-Law feature that has been added to the website
so anybody that wants to know what the rules are can look them
up and see if any have been violated.  In the pass the association
has been ridiculed by many for acting in bad faith against a person
or team but nobody every asked or knew what the rules were that
the GCFA follows and why a ruling was made.  Now if anybody fails
to follow the rules then everybody will know the bases on why the
GCFA made a ruling. All rules are made change and govern by
the owners of the GCFA so this is truly a league of owners.
With all the new changes the GCFA is doing one must ask why are
so many team reluctant on joining the GCFA if those teams are not
happy?  The GCFA has a proven track record on being a well
organize place to play, with honest people overseeing the
operations. In the business world no door has ever been close on
the GCFA. The GCFA is known for paying their bills ahead of time
and in full. Well let’s take a look at what the GCFA has to offer;

1.        All games are filmed by a professional independent
company
2.        All players and coaches are checks by a neutral league
representative
3.        All players and coaches have GCFA issued identification
cards
4.        The GCFA uses natural referees from out of town for their
conference championship games.
5.        The GCFA pays for all the referees that work the
conference championship games.
6.        The GCFA pays for all the cost for their championship
game and they only ask the two teams that are playing to the
championship game to just concentrate on playing football.
7.        The GCFA pays for the All-Star game and buys the players
their game jerseys
8.        The players have their own players association to speak on
their behalf.
9.        Owners say what gets done and what is not needed.
10.        Owners have the right to vote on all  new changes and
majority wins.
11.        The GCFA has always been in the black with money in
their bank account at the end of every year.

Now ask yourself “WHAT IS YOUR LEAGUE DOING FOR YOU”?
